Welcome Mahoning County Residents
Mahoning is a beautiful, mid-sized, county in north east Ohio. One of the requirement to get on the ballot is we must get 10% of the voters of the last governors race – or approximately 418,00 signatures. However, those must come from at least 44 counties with at least 5% of their voters.
For Mahoning County to be a full partner in the Abolition of Taxes on Real Property amendment we need to collect at least 4,260 quality signatures. Therefore, the goal for Mahoning is to collect 12,782 signatures (15%).
