Welcome Washington County Residents
Washington is a beautiful county in Ohio’s southeast Ohio river valley. One of the requirement to get on the ballot is we must get 10% of the voters of the last governors race – or approximately 418,00 signatures. However, those must come from at least 44 counties with at least 5% of their voters.
For Washington County to be a full partner in the Abolition of Taxes on Real Property amendment we need to collect at least 1,132 quality signatures. Therefore, the goal for Washington is to collect 3.396 signatures (15%).
