Welcome Defiance County Residents

Defiance is a beautiful county in Ohio’s upper northwest. One of the requirement to get on the ballot is we must get 10% of the voters of the last governors race – or approximately 418,00 signatures. However, those must come from at least 44 counties with at least 5% of their voters.

For Defiance County to be a full partner in the Abolition of Taxes on Real Property amendment we need to collect at least 667 quality signatures. Therefore, the goal for Defiance is to collect 2,003 signatures ( 15%).
