Lake is a beautiful, moderate to larger sized, county on Ohio’s north coast. One of the requirement to get on the ballot is we must get 10% of the voters of the last governors race – or approximately 418,00 signatures. However, those must come from at least 44 counties with at least 5% of their voters.
For Lake County to be a full partner in the Abolition of Taxes on Real Property amendment we need to collect at least 4,716 quality signatures. Therefore, the goal for Lake is to collect 14,151 signatures (15%).
