Welcome Summit County Residents
Summit is a vibrant, mid to large sized, county in Ohio’s northeast. One of the requirement to get on the ballot is we must get 10% of the voters of the last governors race – or approximately 418,00 signatures. However, those must come from at least 44 counties with at least 5% of their voters.
For Summit County to be a full partner in the Abolition of Taxes on Real Property amendment we need to collect at least 9,917 quality signatures. Therefore, the goal for Summit is to collect 29,751 signatures (15%).
