Welcome Belmont County Residents
Belmont is a beautiful county in Upper Ohio Valley, and home of the beautiful Saint Clairsville bridge. One of the requirement to get on the ballot is we must get 10% of the voters of the last governors race – or approximately 418,00 signatures. However, those must come from at least 44 counties with at least 5% of their voters.
For Belmont County to be a full partner in the Abolition of Taxes on Real Property amendment we need to collect at least 1,124 quality signatures. Therefore, the goal for Belmont is to collect 3,374 signatures (15%).
