Welcome Ashtabula County Residents
Ashtabula is Ohio’s northeastern star, small in sized according to population but BIG on covered bridges! One of the requirement to get on the ballot is we must get 10% of the voters of the last governors race – or approximately 418,00 signatures. However, those must come from at least 44 counties with at least 5% of their voters.
For Ashtabula County to be a full partner in the Abolition of Taxes on Real Property amendment we need to collect at least 1,528 quality signatures. Therefore, the goal for Ashtabula is to collect 4,586 signatures (15%).
