Welcome Cuyahoga County Residents
Cuyahoga is a vibrant, large sized, county on Ohio’s north coast. One of the requirement to get on the ballot is we must get 10% of the voters of the last governors race – or approximately 418,00 signatures. However, those must come from at least 44 counties with at least 5% of their voters.
For Cuyahoga County to be a full partner in the Abolition of Taxes on Real Property amendment we need to collect at least 20,513 quality signatures. Therefore, the goal for Cuyahoga is to collect 61,540 signatures (15%).
We will use the chart below to track your progress based on the 8% and 15% numbers, because some signatures will not count.
Governor’s Race Percentage Chart based on last Gubernatorial Vote |
|||||
| Number of Signatures | |||||
| County | Total Votes | 5% | 10% | 15% | |
| Cuyahoga | 410,267 | 20,513 | 41,026 | 61,540 | |
