Welcome Geauga County Residents
Geauga is a vibrant, smaller size, population wise, but big on maple syrup production. One of the requirement to get on the ballot is we must get 10% of the voters of the last governors race – or approximately 418,00 signatures. However, those must come from at least 44 counties with at least 5% of their voters.
For Geauga County to be a full partner in the Abolition of Taxes on Real Property amendment we need to collect at least 2,122 quality signatures. However, the goal for Geauga is to collect 6,367 signatures (15%).
