Welcome Lucas County Residents
Lucas is a beautiful, vibrant, county on Ohio’s northwest border/coast. One of the requirement to get on the ballot is we must get 10% of the voters of the last governors race – or approximately 418,00 signatures. However, those must come from at least 44 counties with at least 5% of their voters.
For Lucas County to be a full partner in the Abolition of Taxes on Real Property amendment we need to collect at least 6,647 quality signatures. Therefore, the goal for Lucas is to collect 19,843 signatures (15%).
