Morgan is a senic county in Ohio’s southeast along the Muskingum River. One of the requirement to get on the ballot is we must get 10% of the voters of the last governors race – or approximately 418,00 signatures. However, those must come from at least 44 counties with at least 5% of their voters.
For Morgan County to be a full partner in the Abolition of Taxes on Real Property amendment we need to collect at least 238 quality signatures. Therefore, the goal for Morgan is to collect 715 signatures (15%).
