Welcome Vinton County Residents
Vinton is a beautiful county in Ohio’s Hocking Hills in the southeast. One of the requirement to get on the ballot is we must get 10% of the voters of the last governors race – or approximately 418,00 signatures. However, those must come from at least 44 counties with at least 5% of their voters.
For Vinton County to be a full partner in the Abolition of Taxes on Real Property amendment we need to collect at least 198 quality signatures. Therefore, the goal for Vinton is to collect 691 signatures (15%).
