What is Ax Ohio Tax all about?
1. Ending Tax Foreclosures. This happens when a property owner fails to make 3 consecutive property tax payments. When you purchase property, it should be yours without threat of the government seizing your home leaving you homeless.
2. Enable consistent funding of essential services. Property taxes expire forcing taxing authorities to repeatedly come to the voters to secure necessary funds for essential services.
3. Demand the state provide balanced and equitable funding for schools. Ohioans want children educated but funding schools through property taxes has resulted in rich schools and poor schools creating educational gaps based on zip code.
